Community Cats

Community Cat Policy

Our vision is to develop a standalone community cat clinic that makes it possible to develop broad partnerships across the metro that is capable of doing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) on as many as 10,000 cats a year. We believe this is the volume needed to have a positive and lasting impact on colonies in Kansas City.

To make that a reality, however, it will require both a community-wide commitment and enough funding from grants, other animal welfare organizations, local municipalities and individual donors – as well as long-term support – before that vision is realized.

At this time, we’re only able to provide TNR for community cats during our quarterly cat clinics. Please watch our social media to stay informed about when those occur.
