I am the typical midwestern girl, born and raised in Nebraska. I was raised on a farm with my 5 siblings, always surrounded by animals. If I wasn’t getting my bucket calf ready for the fair or riding my pony, then I was probably spending time with one of our many dogs or cats. I can’t tell you a time that I wasn’t passionate about animal care and I always wanted to be the one to help my furry friends.
I attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln for my undergraduate and Iowa State University for vet school. After college, I spent a few years in Washington state working at a mixed animal practice and, later, an integrated medicine practice. Through these experiences, I learned how to care for pets in a number of different ways, and enjoy teaching clients ways they can help their pet have long happy lives.
My little family includes my amazing husband Jesse, mini doxie Jack, and kitty Duchess. During my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature, riding my motorcycle, or lounging with a good book. I feel like I came home to my Midwest roots in Kansas City, and I am proud to be a part of the PRCKC family.
