I was born in Omaha NE where my love for animals started at a young age. I would go to the Henry Doorly Zoo as much as possible and try to tend to every injured animal I found. When I was old enough to get a job, I started as a kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital where I took care of boarding pets. Once in a while, I would get the chance to help the medical team and my interest in veterinary medicine grew.
I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelors in Veterinary Science then moved to Manhattan KS to attend vet school at K State. After graduation, I moved to Fort Worth TX where I worked for a little over 8 years in private practice. I moved back to the Midwest in November 2019 to be closer to my two nephews and niece who live in Nebraska. I currently have a scruffy yorkie/chihuahua/west highland terrier mix named Maple who I adore! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, go out to eat, and watch movies.
