I was born and raised in both Iowa and Costa Rica and began telling people in 3rd grade that I was going to be a veterinarian. We had a full menagerie of animals in our house growing up. At the age of 12, I got my first horse and have had horses ever since.
I graduated from Grinnell College and focused on biology and Latin American studies during my time there. After college, I took a gap year before going to Iowa State University for vet school. During the gap year, I worked in Costa Rica, Ireland, and Kentucky.
After vet school, I moved to Kansas City and worked in general practice for a year and a half before joining the team at PRCKC.
During my free time, you can find me riding my horses, reading my latest book club book, or eating food from a new restaurant I’ve found.
