Born and raised in KC, my only interaction with pets was a family cat my parents allowed us to get so my younger sister and I could play with something other than our newborn sister. Fast forward to college when I adopted my first dog, Wilco, who could hold his own at a party and gave me a purpose to live. I volunteered in animal shelters previously but there is a beauty in helping owners maintain the same special bond with their pet that I experienced with Wilco.
I am a director at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and live with my husband and our two dogs, Reesa and Otis, in the Northland. I’m a huge fan of traveling, cooking, fitness classes, and reality tv.
