KC Native, born and raised, I grew up in a house that was always full of copious amounts of animals ranging from dogs to cats to lizards to rats. I’ve always had a love for all species of animals, and I believe that pets make us happier and give us more fulfilling lives.
I spent the majority of my adulthood bartending and serving at restaurants, but needed a career change about a year ago. I worked with my first non-profit doing event planning, marketing, and other operational tasks. This is where I first developed my love for the non-profit field and am incredibly grateful to start at PRCKC where I get to embrace my love for animals and make a difference in our community.
I enjoy spending free time with my adventurous other half and our fur babies. We have two teddy bear Great Danes named Lilly (Sweets) and Lola (Cda or Chunky) and one cat named Maggie (Keeks). On weekends, we enjoy taking our kayaks to local lakes or to Eureka Springs. We play on recreational softball and volleyball teams and love anything else outdoors. My other hobbies include traveling, riding my bike, gardening (my other babies), cooking, and anything else by the water.
