KC Native, born and raised, I grew up in a house that was always full of copious amounts of animals ranging from dogs to cats to lizards to rats. I’ve always had a love for all species of animals, and I believe that pets make us happier and give us more fulfilling lives.
I spent the majority of my adulthood bartending and serving at restaurants, but longed for something more meaningful. I worked with my first non-profit doing event planning, marketing, and other operational tasks. This is where I first developed my love for the non-profit field and am incredibly grateful to be able to work at PRCKC where I get to embrace my love for animals and make a difference in our community.
I have one rescued kitty named Zepp and spend the rest of my time fostering pets, going on adventures and hikes in the woods, kayaking, traveling, gardening, cooking, and really anything else outdoors.
